Our work is grounded in the belief that those closest to the problems must be leaders in generating solutions. We work with movement organizations, coalitions, directly impacted community members, organizers, candidates, and elected and agency officials to co-create policies that foster a more equitable world where all of us can thrive.

We worked with a national alliance of organizations fighting for the rights of working class and communities of color to remain in, claim, and rebuild our cities.

We worked with the Office of the Public Advocate and a coalition of grassroots groups, planning organizations, and everyday New Yorkers to pass historic legislation that will require the City to consider the racial impacts of land use actions, and build a fairer City for all of New York.
